Why are words in my blog are being highlighted to show ads?

Words in my blog are being highlighted for ads. Some of the ads are offensive, esp. to my blog content.
I understand the visual ads, but not the highlighted words. Even scripture is affected.If I go upgrade to “no ads” will words still be highlighted to show ads?

You have a browser add-on issue. WordPress.com did NOT place those on your blog. WordPress.com does not use text enhance or text link ads or pop-up ads or links in comments. If you and or your visitors are seeing those then that’s a browser-ad-on issue, or in some cases, it’s embedded into free games downloaded from the internet or it’s from leech ads that you acquire by visiting online shopping sites.
