Why are you not allowing original reviews?

  We have no problems with our users posting original reviews of books, movies, and other things.

  Why do you believe we would shut down your blog?

  someone told me you had suspended their blog for ‘posting promotional posts’.
  Surely that’s what we all do from time to time?

  Hi there,

  Perhaps they were referring to sponsored posts wherein advertisers paid them to place posts and advertisements on their blog. We do have some restrictions regarding advertising:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/

  This might be what they were referring to as “promotional posts”.
