Why aren't categories visible in drop down menu?

I’m having a problem with category widget. I’ve assigned categories to posts but they don’t show in drop down menu on main page. Also, when I attempt to nest them, the page just reloads after I click on Parent. I’ve also assigned tags to posts but they don’t show either in the tag widget.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You don’t have any posts published yet, therefore the categories won’t show up in the category/tags widget. You can start publishing a post at https://chicagorestaurantreview.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
Also, when I attempt to nest them, the page just reloads after I click on Parent.
Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?
Otherwise please try clearing out your browser cache.
