why aren't comments on my contact form being forwarded to my e-mail?

    Not getting comments forwarded to my e-mail and I’ve tried everything you’ve suggested!
    I’ve spent several days trying to figure this out and trying everything. Please help me get the comments forwarded to my e-mail.

    Howdy,

    This is regarding the contact form in your sidebar, right? I would add your e-mail address to the shortcode in the text-widget, such as this:

    [contact-form to='(email visible only to moderators and staff)' subject='Contact Form'][contact-field label='Name' type='name' required='1'/][contact-field label='Email' type='email' required='1'/][contact-field label='Website' type='url'/][contact-field label='Comment' type='textarea' required='1'/][/contact-form]

    Notice the “opening” contact-form now has a to= and a subject= values which should ensure that e-mail address is notified.

    Additionally, all submissions are tracked in Feedback->Feedbacks (direct link: https://cindymccormack.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=feedback ).
