Why aren't followers getting email notifications of new blogs?

Some people who have signed up for our blog via email are receiving email notifications when a new blog is published and others are not. Why not? What can I do to make sure that they are getting them from now on?

Your followers need to check their subscription settings. They can verify their setup for email notifications here: https://wordpress.com/following/edit/
Make sure your followers select “Emails for new posts”.

None of my followers received a notification this morning. I published a test post afterward, and still no notifications received. Any thoughts on how I can resolve before publishing early tomorrow morning? Thanks.
