Why aren't my followers getting email notifications?

My private blog followers are still not recieving notification emails when I post something new.

No it does not, because mine is a private blog, not a daily or weekly digest blog. My postings are sporadic and do not follow a schedule.

Since your blog is Private, we won’t be able to see it and so can’t help. I flagged this thread for staff attention but be warned they are on retreat till the 10th and are only sporadically checking the forums.

Can you send me the user name or e-mail address of a subscriber who are not receiving notifications? Your account is set to only display posts from your blog in the Reader at http://wordpress.com and not via e-mail.

Thank you so much! I am still left with a problem, though. How can I change the settings so that all of my followers receive notification emails? I don’t think that they will all be able to figure out how to reconfigure their account settings themselves. I would like to be able to just apply this change to all of their accounts.

Hi,
This is an individual setting and can’t be changed en masse. We allow the reader to choose how often they receive e-mails (instantly for each post, daily or weekly digests) or if they receive them at all (view via the http://wordpress.com reader).
You can write a post to encourage the change and provide the http://en.wordpress.com/read/edit/ link.
