Why aren't my followers getting their email notifications?

I received several emails from followers in the last few days letting me know that they are no longer receiving email notifications when I publish a new post. I haven’t changed any settings that I know of – how can I fix this?

I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi there! Can you give me the usernames or email addresses of a couple of these people who didn’t get your updates? When you post an email address here, it will be redacted from public view but staff will be able to see it.

Thanks! It looks like that user has blocked us from sending them subscription emails.
Can you have them email us at help@wordpress.com and have them mention what I said above. We can guide them through re-enabling those emails. :)

Thanks! It looks like we just sent them an email to confirm their subscription to your posts about two hours ago. Though they have been subscribed to some comments on a couple of your posts for longer.
Let me know if they don’t get your next post email and I can dig into their subscriptions further. :)
