Why aren't my latest posts appearing on my (or my followers') WordPress reader?
-
I am following my own blogs, and recently published posts aren’t appearing in my WordPress reader. The main blog I need help with is eatingrogue.wordpress.com, though I also noticed the latest post on my other blog, seattleaddled.wordpress.com hasn’t shown up either, and that one was posted a couple weeks ago. Can you help me with this? I’d really appreciate it.

I’ve had the same problem.
I am wondering if we need to re-publish the articles so followers get a new post notice? -
Maybe… I tried that though, as in I just changed the post’s status back to draft, waited a while, then clicked “publish” again… but that didn’t change anything. It’s a little frustrating – and, slightly unrelated, why does it seem so impossible to contact someone directly who can help you?
Anyway, I’ve found questions similar to mine elsewhere in the support forums and no one seems to get a concrete answer… -
I was able to contact an email follower and they got an email notice from my last post, so that seems to work.
I’m out of guesses for the reader, there are new posts in the same “tag” results so it must be working but I can find nothing I might of done wrong in posting my article. To your aside, wordpress seems to do a great job being on top of issues. I would guess either its not on the radar yet or so selective a bug they aren’t sure what’s wrong.

Too many tags.
I reposted my last blog and it appears I had too many tags to show in the reader, now it is showing up twice in the reader.
I did not know there was a limit.

All reasons for non-appearance of posts on Topics pages can be found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts
As you have assigned a combined total that exceeds 15 Categories/Tags to your posts, you need to edit and delete. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/ After removal of the excess categories and/or tags note it may take several days for your posts to begin displaying there.
You are inadvertently spamming AKA tag spamming. You ought to be more concerned about Google and Bing than the WordPress.com Topics pages because it’s search engines that send a significant flow of traffic to blogs and they can choose to bury your content where the sun don’t shine for tag spamming.
The rule of thumb is to assign the least /strong> combined number of relevant categories and tags that accurately describe the post content.
