why aren't my pictures loading?

Every time I try to upload a picture on my blog through the “add Media” I get an error … no matter what image I try to upload.

Hi there. First, try clearing your browser cache and cookies and also check whether you have the same problem in a different browser. http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
Go to Media ->Library in your dashboard and make sure that you haven’t run out of storage space.
Also make sure that you’re using the dashboard editor when you’re trying to insert media as the New Post button and the edit link from your blog posts are having problems. From your dashboard, click on Posts ->Add New for new posts and Posts ->All Posts to edit existing posts.

BTW, I don’t know if you’re still following the new editor thread, but another user came up with a workaround that rewrites the links to the new editor so they go to the dashboard editor instead. It might be a bit too technical for most users, but you can find it here: http://wp.me/p3GoCB-3A
