Why aren't my published posts showing up?

I have published posts to my blog, but today they are no longer visible on the front page. They are set to public, and were created in my dashboard. They are still there in the list of posts. I’ve changed browsers and cleared the cache and refreshed the page, but they are still not showing up. This just started today.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This relates to your theme, Superhero.
When you mark a post with the Featured Content tag you’ve chosen, it will be removed from the normal blog post list and will be featured in your theme’s slider, like the Vancouver Fringe tickets on sale now! post.
The other posts are not appearing there because you did not assign Featured Images to them, which your theme requires.

What about posts appearing below featured content? I can post a test post without a featured image and it appears below the featured posts, but then a few posts later, I went back to edit that post and then the area reverted back to “Nothing Found. Ready to publish your first post? Get started here.”
Is superhero supposed to only show one post on the front page and everything else in a sidebar with no scrolling down to previous posts?

For every one of your posts, you added the special Featured Content tag, Vancouver Fringe.
This signals to your theme that the posts are to be shown in the Featured Content Slider, which means that they will not be shown below this area.
To illustrate, I’ve removed the special tag from one of your posts, Half-price show for opening tonight and 2-Minute Preview, and it is now shown below the Featured Content Slider.
As I previously stated, once you add Featured Images to your Featured Content, they should show up in the slider.
