Why aren't my replies to comments showing up under each comment?

  In my latest post, the comments part has changed. For some reason, there’s no reply box after each comment so my replies don’t show up under the specific comment that I’m replying to. How can I fix that? Thanks!

  If you want to create threaded or nested comments see the support docs for Discussion Settings Other Options 4.

  Enable threaded (nested) comments __ levels deep- Turn on this option to allow visitors to reply to other comments inline/nested. When turned on it can allow for better discussions and responses. We suggest using a maximum of 3 levels deep. Anything higher and the theme layouts may not work as expected. Note: Enabling the setting only applies to new comments since existing comments don’t have any threading date.   Thank you but this isn’t about nested comments. Even my first reply to a comment isn’t showing up underneath the comment. In all earlier posts this worked fine and I do have the threaded comments enabled. Something has changed it all for this post and I don’t know why.

  Oh, timethief, you were right!! I saw that nested comments had become unchecked for some reason and I checked it. Went back to my post and the comment section is back to normal. Thanks so much!!
