Why aren't people able to post comments on my blog?
-
Two readers have complained that they are not able to post comments on my blog. Coincidentally, both these readers are wordpress users too. What could be the reason?
I also found a comment from an ‘approved’ reader in the spam folder. How could this happen?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Sometimes Akismet can make mistakes.
You may contact them if it’s making mistakes all the time.

Thank you gamenology1 and justjennifer.
What about readers whose comments are getting rejected?

Are you referring to the 2 readers who are not able to post comments? If their comment just “disappears” they should also follow the procedure outlined in the sticky post I mentioned earlier.
If that is not it, what happens exactly when they try to comment?

@justjennifer: I am sorry but I’m sure I’ll come across as dumb. The sticky post you refer to says they have resolved the issue already.
The message my readers are getting is ‘your comment could not be submitted at this time.’

The specific problem that they were referring to has been resolved, but regardless, if you know these commenters are legit, yes, have them contact Akismet.
For what it’s worth, having a WordPress.com account is no proof against being a possible spammer. If you have a minute, you’ll want to read this on the Akismet site. http://akismet.com/how/#gs2
