Why aren't people who sign up to follow the blog getting an email when I post?

People who sign up to follow blog are not getting emails when I post. Also, if people are not WordPress Members I don’t get an email notifying me that they’ve signed up. If they are WordPress Members I get the email that they’re following but they still don’t get notified when I post. Thank You!

Subscribers following your blog via email will need to click on the link in the confirmation email we send them to confirm their subscription. If you have any readers who’ve signed up, but who aren’t receiving emails yet, can you ask them if they’ve clicked on that link?

Have you published any new posts since they confirmed?
If so, would you please ask them to check their email’s spam filter?
