Why aren't some of my posts appearing on my blog anymore?

For some reason my blog is currently showing only one post from the first page and directly below that are my older posts from page 2 (the url add “/page/2/” when I scroll to the second post). There are about 5-6 posts that should be between those, on the first page, that are non-existent. Everything looks normal on my dashboard, and I can still access the missing posts with a direct link, but I don’t know why they disappeared from the main page. It just happened within the last hour or so.
Also, all of my widgets have disappeared from the live site, even though they are selected on my settings.
I tried accessing the site on different computers and browsers, and it’s having the same issue everywhere.

Hey Chris,
What a strange problem, but I think I might have an idea about what’s causing it. Did you recently turn on the Infinite Scroll option? If you go to this page: https://lacaadvocacy.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php and turn it off, does the problem fix itself?
Testing this will narrow down the issue so we can troubleshoot it more easily on this end. Let me know what happens when you try that option.

The Infinite Scroll was on, so I turned it off. Now my missing posts appear, but they are weirdly formatted (only the first post is normal). From the second newest post and beyond, the text is small, the margins are way too wide and the photos are all over the place. If you look at the site, you can see the difference between the top post and those following.
Also, now that infinite scroll is off, I found out that my missing widgets (which should appear in the right sidebar at the top) are stacked at the very bottom of the page. Very strange.

Thanks for trying that! I see the font size weirdness and missing widgets.
I’ve surfaced this problem to the rest of team so we can get more sets of eyes on it.
I’ll follow up when we have a fix, hopefully soon :)

Hey Chris!
We’ve found the source of the problem. You had a stray div tag at the bottom of this post: http://lacaadvocacy.org/2013/12/13/petro-and-the-challenges-of-colombian-democracy/. I’ve removed it. You can go into the revision history to see specifically what I removed. This fixed the layout. You can now go back to your settings and turn infinite scroll back on as well.
