Why aren't the Stats on my new post updating?

  This is my recent post. It’s been up for a couple hours, and it’s getting traffic, from upvotes on Reddit, and a Like. But my stats aren’t updating, and are still displaying zero views for the post.

  What’s going on?

  Hello there,

  Thanks so much for your note. There are a couple issues at play here: First, stats are not synched immediately. It can take several hours for the systems to converge. Secondly, likes and upvotes on Reddit aren’t tallied here at WordPress.com.

  Only if someone clicks on a link and comes to your site from Reddit will this count as a hit. If someone Likes your post on WordPress.com, it will be collected by our servers.

  If one of your Followers reads your site on their Reader, rather than coming to your post directly, this is not counted as a hit.
