Why aren't you featuring Hurricane Sandy posts?

  As a huge WordPress fan I visit Freshley pressed often and have discovered some grea blogs. I’ve read that you especially like current topics and I can’t think of anything more current than this horrific storm. I live on the east coast and still have not been back to my home. But, I have been writing about my experience. I guess I’m just confused as to why you’re not featuring blog posts on this topic (not necessarily mine, of course).

  That is one Staff blog and The Daily Post is a Staff blog too . All suggestions for that blog must be submitted to that blog at the appropriate link they provide exactly for that purpose http://dailypost.wordpress.com/submit-a-topic/

  I tried the links you suggested, thank you for that, but I am still not seeing a place to provide my suggestion. I’m usually pretty good with this stuff so I’m not sure what the problem is. Thanks for trying to get me there!

  Staff pick and choose what to display in Freshly Pressed. I’ll flag this thread for a Staff response.

  I am in Canada and I’m surprised you think we need more coverage. On a personal level my TV and radio and everywhere I go is providing updates endlessly on the Sandy Hurricane. Twitter is full of updates as well as Facebook.

  It’s possible that there just aren’t very many posts from WordPress.com bloggers local to the area that have made a big enough impact to wind up in our sights.

  I imagine that the local bloggers in particular have bigger concerns right now than blogging.
