Why block editor might be good for some

But it hasn’t been for me.
There’s a powerful reason: the quality of my blog is my writing style and the photos that I choose and edit. I also like to quickly add captions to photos to give context.

To me it’s nice to write /compose in a continuous stream..like how the brain freeflows abit down a river course that you’re paddling along. I noticed all the different blocks for different types of content….it doesn’t synch well with me since it’s fragmenting my writing creativity and forcing it to pay attention to technical features of software ie. block types.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

I’m not sure I understand the issue you are having, can you explain? I visited your most recent post “Heron with Punk Haircut and Other Birdie Delights” and I did not see that it was composed in multiple blocks but instead is entirely written in the “Classic Block” which is a block you can add to your page or blog post to get the classic editor tools in the new interface.

Is there something you are not able to do within the Classic Block itself that you used to be able? The classic block is what we recommend for site owners who prefer the legacy tools so this is what I would normally suggest though it seems you are already using it.

    Thanks for the additional info!
