Howdy,
Which post are you having trouble with? The featured image tool should still be present on the right-hand side of your post editing page toward the bottom.
If you don’t see it, it may have been turned off by accident. You can re-enable it if it isn’t present using Screen Options. It’ll be a link toward the top-right of the post editing page. Instructions with screenshots can be found here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/
If I’m off-base and missed understood, please let me know and we’ll get it figured out!

Where is my dashboard located? I used to press the W with the circle around it to get there but that no longer works.
Is the dashboard located at “my blogs?”
At any rate I can not get to
“screen options,” I can not find the pull down tab anywhere on my site. My blog looks completely different now and I have no idea why. However, I am still able to access the previous format from my phone. -
I figured out how to get to the dashboard but the only pull down menu says “switch blog.”
There is not option for “screen options.”
The edit screen is very minimal now and missing tons of options still..

I see a string of published posts…I am assuming this is the new dashboard lay out.
I forgot to mention that I can no longer upload videos and when I post video links, they show that way, no longer a screen. I can tag new posts but I can no longer chose categories either. It’s almost like my upgrade disappeared.
No problem on the wait, just thankful to get some help.
