Why can I not contact WordPress?

To the contrary I would say, have a look in the various ways to get in touch with support at WordPress.com here for example:

Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately, I have tried every way except directly calling them.There is no direct method for me to contact them via a contact form.
The WP system only gives me the option to pay for support.For instance the ‘live chat’ option, when the steps are followed and the question is entered into the ‘How can we help you box’, the process is not as advertised.
Instead of then offering me the option to chat, it asks for my details.
I enter my WP account details. It then say’s, this option is unavailable to me ‘because I do not have a WP account’. This is clearly not the case.This has been going on for over 1 week. Thanks for your time and help.
I do not require further assistance because, I give up.

If your site is hosted here and you have a paid plan (depending on the level) you have access to email and Livechat with staff. Free sites here receive help via this forum. If your site is hosted somewhere else and uses the wordpress software help comes by registering an account at

WordPress doesn’t provide phone support. If you using a free WordPress.com plan then you can ask for help here in the support forum. In this forum volunteers and staff members will help you out to solve your issue asap.
If you are on the personal plan of WordPress .com you will get email support from WordPress.com. And if you are on the higher plans, you will have access to live chat support.
