  • Hey there,

Many thanks for reaching out – we can definitely help you get the site imported.

Can you tell us the URL of the Squarespace site you’re looking to import please.

Additionally, can you tell me if you’re seeing any error messages during the migration process, this will help us to solve what could be happening there!

    Many thanks in advance!

Hi @aleone89 thanks for replying, getting so frustrated with not seeing the content.

My Url is thegamersdistillery.wordpress.com , i got an email this morning tell me that the upload was successful but still nothing.

  • Hi there,

Due to the differences in our two platforms (at the code level) not all content will transfer. Squarespace does a pretty good job of clarifying what will and will not transfer here: Exporting your site: What content will and won’t export — Squarespace Support

I did not see you mention it here, but can you tell us a bit more about what is missing? Also to confirm, your account with Squarespace is still active? It will help if we can visit the Squarespace site directly to see what content we find there.

It is also not clear (based on their documentation) but it may be the case that not all content will transfer if the site is no longer online. In that event it may help to point thegamersdistillery.com back to Squarespace temporarily, perform the import, then move the domain once the import is confirmed to have worked. If tis is still an option please let us know.

    Thanks for the additional info!
