Why can I not log in with password old or new??

  My wordpress log in will not accept my password.So I have changed it but it will still not let me into my wordpress site.I have changed it twice to be sure but still no luck.It keeps coming up as invalid user name/ have you lost your password. But I know the username is correct as I get my password change e-mails to that address.Please help!!

  May we confirm both the URL of the blog and the username account that it is registered under please?
  Have your tried entering your email address instead of your username when you login?
