Why can I not publish my blog on the free domain option?

  I am trying to publish my blog on the free domain option but I am not offered this option when I want to launch my website. Why is this?

  Just make sure that after clicking the “Launch site” button that you leave blank the field at the top that says “Enter a name or keyword”. Instead just click on “skip purchase” at the bottom right next to your new free address.
