Why can I not put a image on the top of my blog?
-
Sorry to ask this, but I’ve done it before. The image will not appear any where on the posting. Why? It’s uploaded.
-
What is the URL of the image? And what is the URL of the blog? The site linked to your name is not a WordPress.com site and we won’t be able to help you with that. It will save time if you link your name to your WP.com blog rather than an external site.

Ok I’ve made some progress. I can get it in the copy, but a question mark in a blue box appears, which I know means ite can’t find the image. But it’s been uploaded. What to do now?

If you are trying to create a customized header then this may be helpful http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/07/08/which-themes-can-i-add-a-header-image-to/
It’s important to pre-size the image to the correct dimensions before uploading # Greenery size: 740*176 -
We need the URL of the image itself. Go to Uploads, and click on the image, then click Edit and there you can find and copy the URL. sometimes it’s in a different format and needs to be changed.
