Why can i still see deleted domain?

Hello! On November 13th i’ve cancell the upgrade of my blog vechornitsa.wordpress.com to vechornitsa.com. But vechornitsa.com could still be seen at the adress bar. Why is the? And does that mean that vechornitsa.com is couldn’t been bought?

I am seeing http://vechornitsa.wordpress.com/ show up just fine and I am not seeing vechornitsa.com point to it any longer. You should be good to go.

Thank you for the replay. And if i still want to own vechornitsa.com but not having it mapped to vechornitsa.wordpress.com and to move it to another host, what should i do then?

If you have canceled vechornitsa.com, you may need to wait for the domain registrar to release it into the pool of available domains again. I will try to un-cancel it. But I cannot make any promises.

So, good news. We were able to get the domain back.
In order to add it to your account again, I will need to set up a manual payment. The cost will be $18/yr or $26/yr with registration privacy (this is what you had before).

This is good.But if i want domain but without adding it to my account, is it ever possible or options you have mentioned are only one to choose from?

I’m not sure that I understand what you are asking. If you would like to have this domain again, you will need to pay for registration. Once you have it registered, you can point it to a new webhost using these instructions:
If it has been 60 days from registration, you can transfer it to another registrar using these instructions:

Would you like to pay for the $18/yr registration or $26/yr registration + registration privacy?
If you intend to transfer the domain to another registrar, you might not want to bother with the privacy. since you have to cancel it to transfer.
