Why can link open in new window by default

  I have been having trouble of selecting the dropdown and specify the link be open in a new window when ever I give a link.
  if this is not possible by default, can you have another checkbox to make the current selection as default, so that next time I don’t to make the choice

  Where in the dashboard are you trying to “give a link”?
