Why can my followers not pin my recipes to their Pinterest boards?

  I want my followers to be able to pin my recipes to their Pinterest boards. However, only my photos show up on Pinterest–not my recipes or text. Why??

  1. You need to set up each recipe using special recipe tags (schema or hrecipe tags): read about that here:
  https://developers.pinterest.com/rich_pins/
  (I tested the hrecipe tags here on WordPress.com and they work without error.)
  2. Then, you need to validate the post on Pinterest by entering the url to each post in the form here:
  https://developers.pinterest.com/rich_pins/validator/
  3. Preview your pins and make sure there are no errors.
  4. If the post validates, click the ‘Apply now’ link to get approved by Pinterest.
