Why can not Google or Yahoo search my blog?

  I have a blog account in WordPress. It worked fine. Google and Yahoo can search it with some key words. Then I created another blog (also in wordpress), moved all post from the old one to this one, then deleted the old blog. From that time Google and Yahoo and other search engine can not find my new blog. Does anyone know why? (the privacy option is checked at allow search engine to find my blog). Thank you!

  if you have moved to another blog recently, it will take a few weeks for search engines to err… what’s the word for it, track your blog? anyway, my point is if your blog is new wait a few weeks for it to be listed in search engines.

  You might be able to expedite the process by registering the new blog with Google Blogsearch, MSN, etc, but yes, it will take awhile. I don’t know what your google ranking was before, but when you switch to a new URL it goes down to zero; whatever you were on Technorati, you go back down to 50 millionth and work your way up from scratch.

  By the time your new blog has as many links to it from other blogs as your old one used to, then you will probably have the same Google rank.
