  Hi there:

  Can you give me more information? The page you mention is not a private page – but the photo you’re linking to was uploaded to a private WordPress.com site. For people to be able to see that image, they would not only need to be logged in, they would also need to be an authorized user/reader on that blog. Here’s more information on privacy settings:

  Hi,
  thanks a lot for your explanation. I have severaL sites with wordpress. One of the “cardigan total” is private. But I like to have this photo also on other sites. What can I do, that it can be seen on my other sites?

  You will either need to upload it to one of your sites that is public in order to share it across your public and private sites or you can upload that specific image to the Media Library on the public blog and share it that way.
