Why cannot I disable?

  I cannot disable the “Two Step Authentication” and I have followed the instructions! The problem started with using my new iPhone and the app didn’t work. I then got the code in an sms.
  I have broken the connection to the authentication app now. But I cannot disable the Two Step Authentication – it doesn’t work to fill in last code.
  I can reach my blogs on my Mac but not from my iPhone.
  I cannot log in to my blogs on the wpAPP.

  Im also having a problem.

  I replaced my cell phone and the google authentication code app didn’t transfer to my new phone. I am now completely locked out of my blog and cannot disable the two step authentication in order to access it. HELP!!!!

  Disable authentification from a desktop http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/

  Then I would suggest deleting the WP app and reinstalling it.

  “raincoaster” I have read all that and followed the instructions but it doesn’t work.
  I have also reinstalled the wp app on my phone but it didn’t work either.
  I feel very trapped with this two step authentication!
  And I think it is blocking the wp app so I cannot log in with only name and pw.
  WP shouldn’t recommend anything that doesn’t work proper!!!!

  When alternating between phone and another device such as pc/laptop on media sites it does have its fair share of problems.

  I find with twitter I can delete something from my account via desktop but on my phone it still shows up on profile and vice-versa.

  This didn’t help me to disable the two step authentication. I can reach my blogs from my Mac. (but not from my app on iPhone)

  Now I have solved the problem myself :)
  I used my old iPhone and got a code from the authenticator app. This code made it possible to disable. The sms code didn’t.
  Then I removed all about the “two step authenticator” and now I can reach my blogs from the WP app on iPhone too.
  Some hours later …… :(
  Warning about the two step authenticator!!!!
  It’s not all good :(
  To wordpress: check if it block the WP app!!!!!!!
