Why cannot I type in my edit box?

I cannot type in my wordpress.com edit box and when I go to my dashboard, items do not show properly. I can type in the heading box however. I have looked at the contact threads and nothing seems to work. I have tried typing both on mozilla and chrome. please help!

Try logging out and clearing your browser cache and cookies, and then log back in and try again. Sounds simple but it usually works.
