Why can't "create a new post on [my] blog"?

    Hello:

    I’ve noticed that I could not “Create a new post on your blog” via the “menu-dash-newpost” of the “http://en.wordpress.com/post/” webpage.

    I was saving a “link post” to a “draft mode” and couldn’t CLICK on the “New Post” icon, located on the upper-right hand corner of this webpage.

    I would have to navigate away from this webpage and only then could I CLICK on that “New Post” icon.

    I am using the Mozilla FireFox browser version 25.0.1 on a Windows 8.1 edition, by the way.

    Try creating posts here > Dashboard > Posts > Posts > Add New

    @timethief ~Thanks for replying.

    I am aware of that option. However, there are times when I’d like to “create new posts” from the blue-colored, dashboard-header upon logging into my account. It’s more convenient for me. Plus, the “post-format” options (Photo, Video, Quote, Link) are featured here in case I decide to switch to a WordPress.com theme that supports “posts formats”.
