Why can't I access my blog from Russia?

  I can’t view my site or access admin from Russia. Is WordPress.com blocked in Russia?

  Hi there!

  We had a problem a couple of months ago with WordPress.com being blocked by some ISPs in Russia, but we had resolved the problem.

  Can you access this URL?
  https://public-api.wordpress.com

  You should see just two words in your browser if you are able to connect to it.

  And can you tell me who is your internet service provider?

  Once I have that information, I’ll be able to take a closer look.

  I’ve done more checking. It turns out that the ISP in the apartment where I’m living is blocking. My host doesn’t know the ISP’s name. But I’m able to access it from other locations. So I’ll be able to come up with a workaround. Thanks for your follow up.
