Why can't I access my dashboard?

I can’t get in to my blog. When I log in, wordpress tells me I am logged in as “cvanier” (that’s me) and I do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “”. (no idea who/what that is). It says if I am indeed “cvanier” then I need to ask an administrator to invite me in.
Why is my own blog not letting me in?
Could an administrator please invite me? I need this urgently.PS: the strange thing is I have some level of access since I can go into my personal settings and tinker with my password or user name.

I haven’t been able to access my dashboard either and I’m getting annoyed; this is the third day running that I’ve had problems. I can get to my stats and read the actual blog, but I can’t get to the dashboard or access the list of all the posts I’ve made. It seems to be intermittent; I’ve just managed to get in now, to the part that I want, but it is happening every day.
