Why cant i add a simple PayPal button?

  I want to add a simple PayPal button. I copy and paste the code into the HTML editor but it seems to strip the code and therefore functionality as soon as i update.
  Whats up?????

  That works great for the DONATE but a regular BUY NOW button does not offer the e-mail option, or am i missing something?

  The Donate button is the format we officially support on WordPress.com. However, there is an email tab when creating a Buy Now button, but it only generates the URL for your Buy Now page.

  You could use that link and then upload one of the icons PayPal offers by following this guide instead:
