Why can't I add more contact forms to my website?

  • Unknown's avatar

I already have a customized contact form and I am trying to add a couple more but everytime I try to do so and publish the page, it randomly erases the contact form… Does this mean that I am running out of space? If so, you should at least tell me if that’s the case everytime I publish because now, I simply think that you guys have technical issues that you are not aware of. This is bad for my business and this is also bad for business between you and I. So please tell me what the problem is ASAP.

    Thanks,
    J

  • Posts don’t add towards space, but you may be using code that is not allowed.

Just to be sure, are you following this guide to add your form?

    Hi,
I have a couple of questions. I found it strange that I had to pay for a video upgrade to keep posting youtube and other basic videos in my blogs. I was not able to keep posting the youtube videos that I post on a daily basis, without purchasing this upgrade. It says that I can have a refund within 30 days and so is there a way to get a refund and simply stay with the limited video types that I already had and this without deleating videos that have been posted after the purchase? I don’t beleive that I will need those extra video types that have costed me $60, which was totally unexpected.

My second question: Is it possible to choose which pictures to display in the optional home page slideshow without having the site randomnly select any blog post pictures?

    Thank You,
    J

    Hi there,

Can you confirm that you want to cancel and refund your VideoPress upgrade? I apologize for the confusion, however you did not need to purchase VideoPress to continue posting videos from third-party websites such as YouTube or Vimeo.

Users can now add YouTube videos to their posts by simply copying and pasting the URL into their Editor.

Regarding your second question, I’m afraid users are unable to select the images they want to appear in the slideshow. However, please be aware that only images that are 950px by 425px in size and are attached to recent posts will be included in the slideshow.

    Hi,

Thanks for the info. Yes I do wish to have a refund. The problem I have faced is that I simply couldn’t continue posting YouTube or Vimeo videos without purchasing the upgrade. It just wouldn’t let me add a video of any kind on that particular day. The ‘upgrade thing’ wouldn’t leave even when I tried closing it. I’ll have to see if it works well now…

    Hi there,

It looks like you were already able to cancel and request a refund for your VideoPress upgrade via your Dashboard > Store page.

We have since updated the VideoPress upgrade promotion so that users are not experiencing any interference when adding third-party videos to their site.

Please let us know if you need any additional help!

    Ok that’s great!

I am still fairly new to this blogging concept and so may you also explain why would I get 530 views in one day and then only 64 views on the next day when the same number of articles were published on both days? The traffic grew more and more within a time scale of 5 days and then it just dropped enormously afterwards…

    Hi there,

The reasons for fluctuations in Site Stats can vary greatly. You can often find useful information on your Site Stats page regarding “Referrers,” sites that “referred” visitors to your site.

If there’s a big spike in your views, sometimes it can be caused by “Spam Referrers.” However, when I check out your Site Stats, everything looks a-okay to me.

    I hope this helps!

Thanks, this has helped indeed. I have just changed the theme of my site and I can’t change the way my pages are displayed just like I use to with the Modularity theme (even though it was almost impossible to do so).

I also want to know if you can help me with getting to play the soundtrack in my home page’s side bar, it says that it’s buffering instead of connecting everytime I click on Play.

I am surprised that we cannot create sideshows though our headers with basic CSS. I’m hoping that purchasing an upgrade can get the job done. If not, my suggestion is that this should be an available option and not by having Worpress automatically select recent blog images as slideshows, like we see with the Modularity theme.

Last but not least, is it possible to remove the footer line ‘Blog at WordPress…’ and use this space to display other things such as pages perhaps?

    Appreciate the help!

    Hi there,

    1. How would you like your pages to be displayed? Please explain what you’re trying to achieve, and I’ll be glad to help.

    2. Could you please make sure you’re using the audio shortcode correctly?

    3. Different themes work differently — but you might want to check out the Modularity Lite theme, which features a home page slideshow powered by your Featured Images.

    4. We ask that you keep the WordPress.com and theme attribution in your footer. You can add a pages widget to your footer, so long as your theme supports footer widgets.
