Why cant I add my own theme?

  Hello,I can’t add my own theme because there is no button for it.its not a registered paid domain.Just a free blog. but still,why can’t I add a theme.What seems to be the problem?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  there is no problem – third party themes are not allowed on WordPress.COM blogs – security and performance issues – you can choose from about 300 themes

  WordPress.ORG installs allow installing your own themes

  you also don’t have FTP access here either

  if i create a new domain from hostgator and install wordpress ,will it be able to add a new theme then?

  If you use Hostgator as your host and you install the WordPress.ORG software then you can add a theme from outside WordPress.COM
