Why Cant I Add Plugins On My Charity Site
-
Hi Guys
Our charity Bike Project is getting pretty close now and I have had some t-shirts printed that I wanted to sell through our site. Unfortunalty I cant seem to upload the Paypal plugin that would make this so so simple.
Any suggestions??
Thanks

I’m afraid e-commerce isn’t possible here at WordPress.com.There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs like the one linked to your username and we cannot install individual plugins or third party themes into them. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/No blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.COM blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM On WordPress.com blogs we can post PayPal donation buttons and/or use a contact form.
If you require e-commerce/shopping cart functionality, there are no restrictions on e-commerce if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a free hosted WordPress.com blog.
