WHY CAN’T I ADD PLUGINZ 4 FREE?!

    i want my plugin, and I cannnot test my plugin whithout paying $25 a year! why the fuck? This makes my Memberpress thing I bought for $129 unusable. So I’m moving to WIX, they have apps which you can download for FREE.

    Hi there,

    Sadly, only sites with the Business Plan can upload custom plugins. However, all sites do get access to some plugins automatically.

    I’m noting this because the Business Plan is $300 (US dollars) a year, not $25. I just wanted to clarify that.

    The reasons for this is because plugins increase the complexity of your site, and therefore it is more difficult to offer support. But along with this, sites on the Business Plan are also set up differently to allow for plugins to be installed.

    If that’s a problem, you’re welcome to move to another provider, or you might want to consider using the self-hosted version of WordPress instead. https://get.wp.com/
