Why cant I add tags to new pages?

I have several pages on my blog and want each one to search. Only problem is that you cannot seem to add tags to the pages themselves. Does anyone know why this isn’t possible?

I can’t add tags to my posts. It is offered in the menu but when I type in the words and click it does nothing I can add tags from the tags dashboard menu though but i need my posts tagged. would appreciate any suggestions thanks

Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.
If that does not work, then try a different browser to see if it is related to just that one browser.
What browser and browser version are you having trouble with?

I already tried switching from firefox to chrome and it didnt make any diff, but I have this SEO gallery plugin which I just deactivated and it seems now I can add tags to my posts! Not sure if I should reactivate it after I add the tags cos I will have to do that every time I add a new post!
