Why can’t I admit my site to google

It tells me I can but when I try it says I don’t have permission because it’s under wordpress and not my own domain.

Could you please share which verification method you are using in Google Search Console? I noticed that you are using a free subdomain. You may need to have a custom domain to complete the verification process in Google Search Console.Check this guide for reference: https://wordpress.com/support/site-verification-service
