why cant i change my featured image on my posts page

  My posts page wont change its background theme it keeps a meesed up version of my front page theme

  The image which you selected as your header serves as the header for both your home page and your blog page. If you look at the demo page for your theme:

  http://clearnewsdemo.wordpress.com/

  You’ll see that this is exactly how it was designed to behave.
