Why can't I change the header?

  I can’t work out how to change the header. I have gone into ‘customizer’ and ‘header’, and the page allows me to choose another header, but when I press save nothing seems to happen. I have tried using the ‘suggested’ headers as well as my own pictures but neither seem to work.

  The header image on your homepage is actually the featured image set for that page shown here:

  You’ll need to remove that featured image for the page to take on the header image you have set globally for your site.

  It looks like the majority of your pages have featured images set. If a featured image is set, it will override the main header image.
