why can't I choose a plan?

  When I select ‘Premium’ nothing happens. I am trying to set up a website with my own domain name.

  And this domain is one you already own or one you are looking to purchase as part of the Premium bundle?

  What is the underlying WordPress.com site URL that you are trying to purchase the plan for? In order to purchase WPcom’s Premium bundle you first have to have a WPcom website like “yoursite.wordpress.com”.

  Hi,

  If you want to purchase the Premium plan, at first login to WordPress.com, then visit https://store.wordpress.com/plans/ and click the “Upgrade Now” button under the “Premium” section. Remember, the Premium plan costs $99/year. It comes with a custom domain (something like ‘example.com’), 13GB space and more.

  If you already own a domain, you need to map it to your WordPress.com blog. Please follow these instructions provided by WordPress.com in this regard: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/
