Why can't I choose classical editor in my WordPress dashboard Anymore?

  How do I tell how many words I’ve written? What do I have to do to see that?

  At the moment, word count is not part of the new editor.

  I’m glad to here that. I miss it. I always checked my word count as to check so my posts aren’t to long now I can’t. Here’s hoping it comes back.

  How do I group media together in a post? How is that done now?

  I’m not sure what you mean by “group media” exactly. You mean to create an image gallery instead of a single image embed? If so you can use the Gallery Block to upload and group multiple images together: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/gallery-block/

  If you are looking for a less traditional gallery presentation you may want to consider our Tiled Gallery Block instead: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/tiled-gallery-block/
