why can't i comment on other blogs with my WP account?

    Whenever I try to leave a comment on another blog (non-WP) and try to use my WP account I get the following message:

    Your OpenID credentials could not be verified.

    I know I’m putting in my correct username. What’s the problem?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

    If the other blog is not hosted on WordPress.com, your WordPress.com login information won’t work on that site.

    If the blog you’re trying to log into is requiring a OpenID account, you’ll need to create a user name and password with OpenID. Generally, there will be a link on the blog that allows you to create those login credentials.
