Why can’t i connect my wordpress blog to my twitter account?

I don’t know what’s happening with my account. Everytime I click the “authorize connection with twitter” button, it takes me to an error says: “Woah there!
This page is no longer valid. It looks like someone already used the token information you provided. Please return to the site that sent you to this page and try again … it was probably an honest mistake.” :(( please help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you talking about the Publicize option?
Have you published a post since you first tried to do this? Did it appear in your Twitter stream?
Are you using Firefox? Chrome?
Is your Twitter feed private?
Did you try the Cookie Dance? Log out, clear browser cache and cookies, and restart the computer.

Ah, also, have you connected that Twitter account with any other blog here? That might prevent this from going through.

I have the same problem and it has persisted for months now. I know why it may have happened – I got interrupted while initially authorizing the twitter connection and had to abort and start over. Now it thinks I “used” the token. I’ll try to figure out this cookie clearing thing. Maybe that will help.

I am having the same problem! And no, it is NOT sending to twitter, I checked. Help please!

When you say publize the actual wording of the link, contains “authorize connection with twitter”, but is in the area where one would publish a new blog entry.
I have made multiple attempts to do this and have published many blog entries and none of them show up in Twitter.
My browser is IE 7.
My Twitter feed is not private.
I have done the “cookie dance”.
I have made no attempts to connect any other blogs to Twitter.
Thanks for any help you can give.
In addition I frequently have to re-authorice messenger.

I agree. I think this is going to have to be worked out between WP.com staff and Twitter.com staff, so if you’re experiencing this problem, please report it to them via the link TT provided.
