Why can't I create a link in my blog post to existing content on my blog?

  I’m trying to create a link in my blog post to existing content in my blog, but it’s not working. I used to be able to do this (so I know how it’s done), but for the last two posts I wrote, I can’t get even create the link. I am going through the steps — underlining the text where I want the link to occur, finding the existing content URL and title and selecting “insert link” — yet the underlining is not there and the link isn’t getting created. Please help!!

  Please give us a link to a post where this error has occurred, tell us the word that is supposed to be the link, and the URL of the link you tried to put in, starting with http.

  After I wrote the last question, I was able to add a few links. But now I can’t again. I know how to do it, but it just seems to not work most of the time. Right now I am trying to add a few internal links to other posts on my blog, and I am also trying to link to a few external websites. Neither are working. I highlight the text to link, enter the web address, and then when I click, the text is no longer underlined/no link appears. Please help!
