Why can't I crop images or view galleries with 'next' and 'previous' arrows
-
I have two issues: 1) I cannot crop images and 2) the slide shows in the image galleries no longer have visible ‘next’ and ‘previous’ arrows. I am using the Imbalance theme, but these things had been working fine. The problems happened around the same time that I purchased the Pro Bundle, although I do not know if the two things are related. Because my blog is an artists’ blog, cropping and browsing through images are essential tasks. –Charlotte at http://www.artingaround.net

What happens exactly when you try to crop an image?
Do you also encounter this issue in a different browser? for example Firefox or Google Chrome?

In IE, which is the browser I have used since beginning the blog earlier this year, when I click on “edit image,” I see the image, but nothing happens when I try to crop by dragging the cursor over the image. No cursor or crop box appears. By the way, I also cannot rotate the images; when I click on the rotate button, the image greys out and the little circle timer turns indefinitely.
I just tried cropping with Firefox, with the result of having no image at all appear when I click on “show”.
