Why can't I delete my account?

  I no longer have a blog on this site and I would like to delete my account as well. Inactivity is not as permanent as a deletion and I think this option should be available.

  Unfortunately, we are unable to delete accounts at this time. However, you are more than welcome to edit or delete your profile information.
