  Premium themes have to be removed by Staff or transferred to another site of yours before the site they are on currently can be deleted. Deleting a site with upgrades https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/#deleting%C2%A0a-site-with-upgrades

  HI htere,

  I can see you have the premium theme, Venture, on your site, but you’ve not even owned it a full year yet. It’s not possible to refund that theme any more, but I can transfer it to a different site for you, or you can set the existing site to private and still have the address and theme available should you want it at a later time.

  If you’re sure you want to cancel, please confirm and I’ll take care of it for you.

  Thanks for confirming. I’ve removed that theme from your site, so you should now be able to delete it.
